Reset a Belkin Router Password
If you have set your router password and forgotten it, you are unable to make any changes to the configuration your Belkin router. The easiest way to reset your password is to reset your router. This will change the settings to the default factory settings. As this will reset all your settings on the router, make sure that you have them written down or can get them from your ISP.
To reset your Belkin router to the factory default settings, hold the reset button on the back of the router. You may need a paper clip to hold the button. The lights on the front of the unit may change/turn off - this is fine.
To reconfigure the router go to http://192.168.2.1. This will open a page with all the current router settings. To reconfigure the router you will need to enter a password. By default this is blank when you reset it to the default factory settings.
